SKTM PROJECTS SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE FOR TEACHING MATHEMATICS

The Maths Hub offers continuous development and support through the Teaching for Mastery programme, or a precursor to this, via a series of year long Work Group projects are underpinned by some of the 5 Big Ideas (the principles of teaching for mastery). As part of their Work Group learning, teachers will receive an introduction to teaching for mastery pedagogy, providing stepping stones onto a teaching for mastery pathway the following year.
